“Mom has settled in well, and we are extremely thankful and impressed with the entire staff and their dedication to the residents and the individual attention they manage to provide everyone. We quickly realized this is a far more appropriate program and facility for her current needs, it is everything we were promised it would be and are delighted to have made the move.” ~ D
“When my wife moved into Legacy Memory Care, I was very afraid she would resist being placed there and would complain when I left. But when I was departing and told her I would see her the next day, she simply said ‘goodbye.’
It was far from the scene I feared. I attribute it mostly to her personality, but also to the fact that I was able to prepare her room with familiar furnishings and stayed there the first three nights with her. It also had a lot to do with the high quality care she receives at Legacy…it is even better than I hoped it might be. The people are attentive and knowledgeable, the activities keep her engaged, and most important of all, the staff is truly caring in how they relate to each of the patients. Even the food is great!
I cannot say enough positive things about my experience with Legacy. It is truly a class act.” ~ C.
“On behalf of our entire family, I extend our deepest gratitude to all of the wonderful caretakers and thoughtful administrators at Legacy who cared for our father. We recognized and appreciated your respectful approach to our father’s care, your unconditional kindness, your patience (which was required often), and your willingness to continuously evaluate his evolving needs.
One of the greatest challenges for those of us who live out-of-state was reconciling our distance and our father’s vulnerability. Your predictable balance of warmth and professionalism afforded us comfort despite our geographic separation.
I remember working in my father’s medical office one summer when I was about fourteen years old. He explained to me how each person’s individual job required focus and their performance was what made the office “hum.” Our family recognizes and appreciates the role that each staff member fulfilled in making our father’s days more comfortable. From the kitchen staff who made sure his meals ended with a sweet dessert, to medical staff who devised strategies to administer medication, resident care providers who listened to his stories and grew to know his preferences, to the administrators who worked with us to ensure our father could remain safely at Legacy though his final days – we are eternally grateful for all these caring gestures.” ~ M
