Adjacent to the OceanView campus, owner, John Wasileski, has purchased the historic Whipple Farm property also known as the "old" Joshua Merrill homestead. A site plan consisting of 40 cottages and two luxury apartments in an antique reproduction barn carefully situated behind the pre-Revoluntionary War homestead to preserve the picturesque view of the saltbox on the knoll. The 1756 farmhouse itself will be maintained as an event and activity space for residents of OceanView and the local community. Currently, the Falmouth Historical Society is utilizing some of its space. A beautiful new 3-season pool has been completed along with a lovely community room and woodworking shop in the barn.

Beautiful hillside sites, many with water views or overlooking 5-acres of conservation land, are now being reserved for you to design and decorate your ideal cottage at OceanView!

Four basic floor plans can be modified and expanded to include such options as a sunroom, loft, basement, gas fireplace or screened porch. The new homes, whose basic exterior designs maintain the character of the colonial era, include center chimneys and dormers. Their combination of clapboard and shingles will be painted in period colors.
